Un felice esordio per la casa editrice modenese Della Cella: con questa sua nuova fatica letteraria, l’autore reggiano Fabrizio Tavernelli mette a nudo la fine dell’utopia emiliana
DECLINO - Un libro, a suo modo, di denuncia, capace di evidenziare quelle imperfezioni che affiorano alla finestra del circostante, sbattendoti in faccia il declino di ideali e utopie di un modello, quello emiliano, che frana sotto il peso dei suoi stessi simboli. Il crollo di quella antica sapienza contadina, che forse non è mai esistita «perché ormai - si legge nel capitolo “L’insostenibile tenerezza del ricco”, forse il più colto dal punto di vista stilistico - anche le menti, gli istinti degli abitanti delle campagne erano un delirio di mostruosità, di false concezioni del mondo, una prepotente e arrogante foga di sfruttamento dei doni della natura”. Ma c’è un’altro punto cardine di questo lavoro editoriale, che si consuma nell’incontro tra gli italiani e gli stranieri che abitano le nostre terre. “Con la sharia reggo la tua economia” si legge nel capitolo “Pakistano reggiano”, come ad evidenziare come sia proprio il lavoro dei nuovi italiani a reggere produzioni tipicamente locali, come ad esempio il parmigiano reggiano; perché “dal Po alla via Emilia, mi sembra il Pakistan, l’India. Pakistan reggiano Pakistan”.

Copycat “Disco Thang” (Ajello Ethos Mama Remix) 2012 MB Disco
Review:
Swedish producer Copycat has enjoyed an interesting career to date, first impressing with a series of unlikely bootleg mash-ups and punkish electro tracks before moving on to more serious-minded compositions. Here he pops up on Martin Brodin’s MB Disco imprint with a breezy fusion of Balearic piano solos and Moroder-ish electro-disco bottom end. It’s simultaneously tough, chunky and impossibly sunny. Fast-rising Brooklyn studio boffin Lou Teti draws out the track’s more Balearic elements on a laidback disco rub that seemingly shuffles from the speakers like an old man on smack. Ajello, meanwhile, turns “Disco Thang” into a twinkling acid house/nu-disco crossover
